  • At this time, Butter's Fine Food & Wine Delivery and Mail Order ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska and Hawaii. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

    GUIDELINES FOR ORDERING

    Butter's Fine Food and Wine makes every effort to maintain, if not improve upon, the quality of our fine products. We are sure you will be delighted with your selections. Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. If there is any problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Credit will not be granted if unsatisfactory items are discarded or consumed.

    ORDERS

    Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, seven days a week via our web site. Telephone orders can be placed Monday - Friday from 9am to 7pm EST. Call us at 603-225-5995.

    Butter's Fine Food and Wine accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express at our physical store and online.  Discover Card is accepted online only. Cash is only accpeted at our physical store. Checks or money orders and not accepted. All prices are subject to change without notice. Catalog prices do not reflect the cost of delivery. We do not ship C.O.D. Sales taxes will automatically be added to any applicable purchase.

    SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

    It takes 24 hours to receive and process your order. Orders placed before midnight will be automatically shipped the following business day, Monday -Thursday. Due to the perishable nature of our product, we ship all orders to arrive overnight or 2 day. Orders shipping within approximately 150 miles of Concord, NH are guaranteed overnight via UPS Ground. Orders shipping outside this area ship overnight via UPS Next Day Air.

    During December and other peak periods, we may require several days to process and deliver your order and will inform you of any unusual delays.

    PACKAGING

    Your cheeses are packaged in insulated cartons, fitted with gel ice packs and cushioned with packing peanuts to ensure quality standards for up to 48 hours. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped together.

     QUALITY

    Please note that to ensure quality, we cut your cheese to order. We will always try to cut the specific amount requested, but it is possible that we might cut slightly more or less. Please understand that this is one of the challenges of offering a handcrafted product and that we will do our best to make sure you are satisfied.

     PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS

    Due to seasonal availability and supply limitations, we may need to substitute items within one of our gift selections to ensure freshness and timely delivery. We will always compose your gift with alternative ingredients of equal or greater quality and value.

     GIFT CERTIFICATES and VOUCHERS

    Butter's Fine Food and Wine gift certificates and vouchers may be redeemed toward the purchase of any of our cheeses, food products, accessories, and educational programs, or memberships. Gift certificates or vouchers must be redeemed over the phone. To redeem yours, please contact Customer Service toll-free at (603) 225-5995.

    All gift certificates and vouchers are mailed out via USPS First-Class Mail upon receipt of your order. 

    GIFT NOTES

    A personalized gift note can be included with all of our products at no extra charge. Please be sure to include a signature!

  • You may purchase merchandise from this Web site by using any one of the payment options listed in (link to Payment Options). Butter's Fine Food & Wine Delivery and Mail Order reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.

    Butter's Fine Food and Wine will not assume responsibility for any incorrect addresses provided to us; delivery, return and re-delivery charges will apply. We strongly recommend that when ordering perishable items, you confirm that the recipient or other responsible party will be available to receive, open and properly store you order. We are unable to replace cheeses that perish due to recipient's being unavailable at the time of delivery. Furthermore, please note that our boxes are clearly marked "perishable" on the outside and we are not responsible for the items received but not opened.

    Due to the perishable nature of our product, we ship all orders to arrive overnight or 2 day.

    If there is any problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Credit will not be granted if unsatisfactory items are discarded or consumed.

    For all non-persiable items (dry goods, canned goods,  non-food items, downloadable digital products, coupons, vouchers, gift cards, gift certificates, club memberships, tickets) Butter's Fine Food and Wine will provide a refund if you change your mind within five days after you've purchased your item.  After that, we do not provide refunds.

    All tangible items must be returned to the store for a refund. All damaged items (due to mishandling by shipping merchant, melting due to excessive heat during transport , or freezing due to excessive cold during transport,  must be photographed and emailed to damagedproducts@buttersfinefood.com and a claim must be filed with the shipping merchants in order to receive a refund.

    We reserve the right to refund, exchange product, or gift card the monetary equivalent of the product purchased.
